This month, we’re highlighting one of DC’s best titles Jeremy Adams’ The Flash. February featured a weekly crossover, called The One Minute War. It was a wonderful storyline pulling together the rather expansive Flash family. You can read it now on DC Universe Infinte, at the $135 CAD Ultra yearly access. Jeremy’s Flash is worth it alone.
Weekly Omissions- None. It’s All Main Universe. Unheard of in my time scoring until now.
Hero Of The Week- This Week was a real showing for DC’s Black Characters. Often times, this doesn’t happen as much in the main DC Universe that we score; the Milestone offprint being a good example. This week went particularly well for our Hero Of The Week, Jefferson Pierce. Black Lightning would bring in 18 Points over 2 Appearances. Jason Todd would steal Performance Of The Week however, with a 12 Point Appearance.
Antagonist Of The Week – It was the Event tie-ins that brought some love to the Villains this week. Godspeed would make a bloody 7 Point return, while Trigon bested his daughter for 7 Points as well.
Book Of The Week- In a week with Two-Event titles, it came down to a clash between a Romance Comic and a celebration of DC’s Black History. With a Mighty 118 Point tally over 22 Characters, DC Power: A Celebration #1 emerged victorious.
