Saga of Asgard: November 2018

Asgard

The conclusion of the November month for the Asgard Division of the Fantasy Comic League came down to the wire in a white-knuckle battle between our Agents of Asgard.

Reversing his fate from the previous month and barely finishing in 1st was Agent Geeks (@GeeksGoneWildTw). He finished the month with 78 points—the same as the second place winners—and only Iceman’s performance, earning 38 points alone, allowed Agent Geeks to claim that coveted number one spot. Joining Iceman was Captain America, Ironheart, and Doctor Strange.

Leaping from a slow start at the beginning of the month to a light bolt finish, Agent Pom (@pomwonderland) claimed 2nd place, also with 78 points, on the prevailing winds of Storm. For the first time, Agent Pom’s Deadpool—who was on her team—did not lead her pack. Also on her team was Daredevil and Kitty Pryde.

Agent Lori (@LoriHyrup) settled into 3rd place with 73 points under the leadership of the brilliant Jean Grey, and supported by Nightcrawler, Beast, and Ms. Marvel.

Agent Seren (@HamSandwchwoman) placed 4th with 66 points and with the young Spider-Man (Miles Morales) taking lead. He was supported by X-23, Black Panther, and the Invisible Woman.

That brings us to Agent Cham (@Cham_Arrow). In no hurry and no need to prove himself to anyone, he earned a total of 28 points and accepted his fate of 5th place. His leader was Bishop—first time he was ever drafted. Joining Bishop was Spider-Man (Otto Octavius), Spider-Woman, and Scarlet Spider.

Agent Seren’s been looking down of late, and I believe that’s affecting her performance. I plan to speak with her this evening about her heritage. I hope that doesn’t make things worse for her. In any case, I should have more to share during my next chronicle.

The Saga of Asgard continues…

Overall Scores: Lori, 7; Geeks, 6; Seren, 5; Pom, 4; Cham, 2
