Help Support The Heroes We Love: This month, we’re highlighting specific members from a certain Family of characters, the guys who pay the bills over at DC. It’s time for the Bat-Family to get some focus. And this week we will look at the fallen Son, Damian Wayne. Damian Wayne used to be the crown child amongst the family, third to Bruce and Dick. This year he’s sitting at 16th, as of week 16. He’s lower than the highest Antagonist, and holds no real position of power amongst the Family performances. He’s starring in Batman & Robin by Phillip K Johnson, and Detective Comics by Tom Taylor, and their artistic teams. Both of these Series are strong, but have a larger focus on Bruce a lot of the time. You can read these excellent series when you subscribe to DC Universe Infinite at the Ultra Annual Level (which runs the price of $170 CAD).
Weekly Omissions – Absolute Batman #7, DC vs Vampires: World War V #8
Hero Of The Week – Bat-Family domination runs rampant, but at least one man shows up to make a splash. Hero Of The Week goes to Bruce Wayne once more, with Batman bringing in 19 Points over 2 Appearances. Performance Of The Week goes Arthur Curry, the Aquaman, who brought in 15 Points in a single Appearance.
Antagonist Of The Week – It was a really weird week for Antagonists, with Scarface doing some of the coolest crap I’ve ever seen in a comic. But Antagonist Of The Week goes to Brainiac for a bizarre Creature Commandos Miniseries that came to a conclusion today. He brought in 8 Points in a single Appearance.
Book Of The Week – Green Lantern Corps #3 took the title Book Of The Week, bringing in 43 Points over 9 Characters. This had a solid outpouring of Antagonists actually, with a lot of Red Lanterns scoring a handful of Points.
Power Of The Week – Sometimes the visual representation of something can take a less direct shape than watching a character simply perform it in the present time. This week, we’re highlighting Juni Ba’s choice to represent Damian’s Investigation into a series of comic stripes the character Damian drew. It’s an absolute visual treat.
