Help Support The Heroes We Love: This month, we’re highlighting specific members from a certain Family of characters, the guys who pay the bills over at DC. It’s time for the Bat-Family to get some focus. And we’ll start this week with the prodigal son, Dick Grayson. He’s actually fallen from his usually secure spot of being #3, with Aquaman coming in to push him down to #4. Dick’s greatest sin is one he shares with his partner, Barbara Gordon. While they put up the Appearances, they don’t score much. Barbara usually brings in a Computers usage, while Dick leads a team. But right now in Titans, he’s not leading. While Nightwing by Dan Watters is fantastic, Titans by Jonathan Layman is letting Dick down hard. Weekly Omissions – Absolute Flash #2, DC X Sonic The Hedgehog #2
Hero Of The Week – It wasn’t a crazy exciting week on the Hero front, they didn’t even bring home Performance Of The Week. Instead, Clark Kent was able to secure Hero Of The Week, bringing in 23 Points over 4 Appearances. Not very super, man.
Antagonist Of The Week – We’re starting to get into the true meat of the We Are Yesterday Event, which sees Gorilla Grodd utilizing the Legion Of Doom from the past to fight the Justice League Unlimited. Without a doubt this is destined to fail, but it got Grodd both Antagonist And Performance Of The Week, with a 13 Point Appearance.
Book Of The Week – So this week was wild, with multiple ties for both First and Second Place, meaning the top 4 Books fought for two spots. Bringing in 48 Points to fight for 1st was Summer Of Superman Special #1 and Titans #22. Titans needed twelve characters to get there, while Summer Of Superman only needed 9, giving it the honour of being Book Of The Week.
Power Of The Week – It’s a pretty mundane Power this week, but we’re giving it to the unconventional use of Precision, which Clock King scored by precisely planning and executing a plan.
