What would New York City be without Spider-Man? According to the latest issue of Spider-Man, not much different as another spider-hero would step up and take his place. What would New York City be without the Baxter Building and its surrounding city block? Well, New Yorkers will find out as Mr. Fantastic blipped it and its inhabitants a year into the future to protect it from the latest Negative Zone invasion.
Book the Week – Avengers: Forever #14 (Review score: 63 Points; 16 Characters). The Multiversal Avengers face off with the Legion of Doom (not that one). The various Captain Americas and Captain Marvels take down wave after wave of Doctor Doom variants with the Black Panther Starbrand punching a hole through Doom the Living Planet. But Mephisto, the real culprit behind this war, remains large and in charge, even a bit larger than before.
Hero of the Week – Iron Man (Review score: 18 Points/2 Appearances; 9.0 Pts/App). The 2022 Character of the Year gets his first Hero of the Week title. He rises to second place swapping positions with Steve Rogers in the early standings.
Antagonist of the Week – Doom Supreme (Review score: 7 Points/1 Appearance; 7.0 Pts/App). Doom Supreme may have originally aligned himself with the Multiversal Masters of Evil, but in true Doom fashion, Doom has no equal. So he leads an army of Doom variants against the Avengers. He squares off against heavy hitters Agamatto, Avenger Prime Loki and Namor.
