It’s the end of Judgement Day, but instead of ending the world, the Progenitor reverses the destruction and brings everyone back. Well, not everyone. Sersi is sacrificed after revealing the cost of the Eternals’ resurrection protocols—the death of a human—to the rest of the world. The Iron Cat series also concludes with Black Cat’s best friend running off with the super suit and earning a spot in the Fantasy Comic League scoring database.
Book the Week – A.X.E.: Judgement Day #6 (Review score: 84 Points; 27 Characters). The Progenitor’s judgement and damage has been reversed, but that doesn’t mean everything is back to the way it was. In addition to Sersi taking the punishment for the Eternals’ deadly secret, Ajak is granted a new position as the Eternal’s new god—Ajak Celestia, and Zuras returns to his role as the Prime Eternal. On the X-Men’s side, Jean Grey makes the decision to expand the mutant’s resurrection protocols to the neediest of humans through the newly created Phoenix Foundation.
Hero of the Week – Wolverine/James Howlett (Review score: 17 Points/3 Appearances; 5.67 Pts/App). Wolverine continues his dominant year and ties Spider-Man once more for the most Hero of the Week titles. He extends his lead over Iron Man for the overall top spot and faces a new unexpected adversary in his ongoing title. Captured by the Legacy House and surrounded by affluent villains such as Mr. Negative and Madame Masque—all bidding to acquire a piece of him—Wolverine gets a shock when Beast, his fellow mutant, comes forward with the highest bid.
Antagonist of the Week – Hobgoblin/Rodrick Kingsley (Review score: 9 Points/1 Appearance; 9.0 Pts/App). Rodrick Kingsley is up to his old tricks: brainwashing Ned Leeds into believing he is the Hobgoblin. This time it goes a step further and the two Hobgoblins team-up to torment Spider-Man, but only one can earn the Antagonist of the Week.
