The X-Men join the Eternal’s Uni-Mind in a grand play to usurp power from Prime Eternal Druig, but they’re not the only ones to have a hive mind breakthrough. Eddie Brock learns that all the symbiotes he has met in the Garden of Time are him throughout his own timeline. Conan returns to his own timeline in Savage Avengers and Sunspot and the Fisher King reveal themselves to be members of Arakko’s secretive Night Seat.
Book the Week – A.X.E.: Judgement Day #4 (Review score: 170 Points; 39 Characters). Things are heating up in Judgement Day when Earth and humanity’s hopes are dashed, and one of Arakko and mutantdom’s greatest heroes falls. With the help of the mutant telepaths, the Eternals vote out Druig as the Prime Eternal and elect Starfox their new leader. However, his message of love goes unheeded and the Progenitor gives humanity a thumbs down. Things are not looking so good on Arakko either. Magneto falls while defeating Uranos, a tragic turn of events for a mutant who recently removed himself from the resurrection protocols, making his death more permanent.
Hero of the Week – Wolverine/James Howlett (Review score: 21 Points/3 Appearances; 7.0 Pts/App). For the second week in a row, Wolverine claims the Hero of the Week title. He now leads the category and expands his lead over Iron Man for total points after supplanting him as the top character in the previous week. He maximizes his three Appearances by scoring a Team-Up, Defeats Antagonist, Claws and Claws Offensive in each book.
Antagonist of the Week – Exodus (Review score: 6 Points/1 Appearance; 6.0 Pts/App). The antagonists have a four-way tie, but Exodus’ prominent role and Character Development in A.X.E. gives him the edge. His big year continues, currently sitting in third behind Doctor Doom and Doctor Octopus with 63 points, which is nearly double his total score in 2021.
