Monthly Marvel Preview: July 2021

The Hellfire Gala is over and the Sol System has been changed in the aftermath. The event saw a new X-Men team launch and concluded with the death of the Scarlet Witch, seemingly at the hands of Magneto, whose upcoming Trial begins in August. And just beyond that… Inferno.

Elsewhere in the Marvel Universe, The Last Annihilation brews against Dormammu, now reborn within the shell of Ego the Living Planet., while Jennifer Walters take center stage in Avengers as World War She-Hulk begins.

The Spider-Verse heats up with Sinister War, the final arc of the Nick Spencer run, begins with an oversized special; Infinite Destinies Annual Crossover bleeds into Infinite Heist in the Black Cat title; and Extreme Carnage plays out over a series of one-shots, featuring Flash Thompson’s big return to Agent Anti-Venom status.

Concluding Series: It’s a really rough month if your title starts with a “B” or a “C”: Beta Ray Bill (5 Issues), Black Knight: Curse Of The Ebony Blade (5 Issues) Cable (12 Issues), Captain America (30 Issues), Carnage: Black, White, & Blood (4 Issues), and Children of the Atom (5 Issues)

New Series: Amazing Fantasy (Kaare Andrews), Moon Knight (Jed McKay, Alessandro Cappuccio), Symbiote Spider-Man: Crossroads (Peter David, Greg Land), and X-Men #1 (Gerry Duggan, Pepe Larraz)
