Monthly Marvel Preview: June 2021

June is Event Central. We have three events running weekly throughout the month. The first of these is Heroes Reborn, which drops its final two chapters and the Heroes Return #1 finale in the first half of the month. The second event is The Chameleon Conspiracy, meaning weekly updates of ASM continue, concluding with the Giant Sized Amazing Spider-Man: The Chameleon Conspiracy #1.

And now we must have all eyes on The Hellfire Gala. This 12-part crossover will touch nearly all the X-Titles and bring about the end of X-Factor & X-Men. The Fantastic Four, Avengers, and more will be in attendance. This event will launch a new X-Men Team (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Polaris, Sunfire, Synch, Wolverine) next month, while The Trial of Magneto looms for August. The series involved in Hellfire Gala are: Excalibur, Hellions, Marauders, New Mutants, Planet Sized X-Men, SWORD, Way of X, Wolverine, X-Corps, X-Factor, X-Force, X-Men. Estimations were based on covers and solicit text.

We also have Venom 200, the 92-page finale to the Donny Cates Venom saga. “Infinite Destinies,” an eight-part crossover will play out over annuals for Black Cat, Captain America, and Iron Man. This event will lead into the next big arc for the Black Cat series, “Infinity Score.” Gamma Flight and Reptil get series, the former spinning out of Al Ewing’s acclaimed Immortal Hulk run. And lastly, Marvel’s Voices drops a Pride issue focusing on characters such as Angela, Daken, Hulking, Iceman, Karma, Karolina Dean, Lightspeed, Mystique, Nico Minoru, Northstar, and Wiccan.
