Weekly DC Review: March 12, 2021 (Week 10)

Help Support The Heroes We Love: You can legally purchase all DC Comics digitally through their digital app, the Comixology service, or through their website, https://www.readdc.com/

Hero Of The Week- A new first-timer to the Hero Of The Week title is upon us, elevated by his Bat Privilege to score 20 Points over 2 Appearances. It wasn’t Tim, Steph, Luke, Jace, Harper, Dick, Damian, Cass, Bruce, or Barbara. Jason Todd is the Hero Of This Week, with 21 Points over 2 Appearances.

Antagonist Of The Week – Slow week for antagonists, with mostly the Gotham usuals crawling out of the slums. Poison Ivy and Hector Hammond share Antagonist of the Week with a measly 4 Points each, beating out Scare-Crow and The Joker who brought in 3 a piece.

Book Of The Week- This week was beautifully small, with most books failing to break double digits. Unsurprisingly, Batman: Urban Legends #1, an oversized Bat-Family title, took the Book Of The Week Title, with 54 Points spread out over 14 Characters.

Statistical Notes-  0 New Characters Added.

House-Keeping: As it currently stands, we at the Fantasy Comic League only count things that are identifiably the Prime DC Universe, so titles such as DCeased will still not be scored. Some Black Label books count.

After the blending of Pre and Post-New 52 histories, the new revised ruling for counting DC Heroes for tracking will be a total of 52 Appearances from their combined Prime and New Earth continuities.

We score Digital First comics when they release digitally, not when they are collected in print.
