In times of war, the line between friend and foe can blur. For Frank Castle, the war never ended. Because of his bloody campaign against criminals, The Punisher mixed it up with Daredevil once more and earned him an Antagonist of the Week title. He scored 19 points across four titles which included the latest Daredevil issue as well as three War of the Realms books. In the main title, Frank teamed up with Wolverine to defend the streets of New York from the invading Frost Giants, while he recruited a bus full of the very criminals he hunts to protect innocent civilians evacuating the city in his special tie-in book. Wolverine and Daredevil, the two characters who starred opposite Punisher, took Hero of the Week honors with 21 and 18 points, respectively. War of the Realms coasted to the top book of the week with 96 points and left the finale of Avengers: No Road Home in the dust.
A week before the X-Men join the War of the Realms fray, they captured the top team book with 63 points. They fought a familiar war with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants but were surprised to learn the Magneto they fought was Joseph, the Master of Magnetism’s clone. Juggernaut, the X-Men’s on-again off-again foe, switched sides when they deception was revealed. The top solo books from the week benefited from the main characters having a strong supporting cast. Old Man Quill continued to be more of an Old Man Guardians of the Galaxy book and scored 36 points, which fell just short of Tony Stark: Iron Man‘s 39 points. Tony’s personal war inside the eScape came to a close when he overcame his parental problems brought to life by a rogue Motherboard.
