July came and went, and so has the 3^rd month of our summer season of the Fantasy Comic League. As always, those in the Asgard division of the league worked hard to prove their valor.

Surprising everyone, including himself, with his first ever 1^st place finish since joining the league in January, was Agent Cham (@Cham_Arrow). He earned 76 points for the month under the intellectual leadership of Iron Man (Tony Stark). Thor Odinson, Storm, and Ironheart rounded out the rest of his team.

In second place, just six points behind the leader, we find Agent Seren (@HamSandwchWoman) with 70 points. Her team benefited from the great performance by the Boss of Space herself, Captain Marvel. Working with Colonel Danvers on Agent Seren’s team was Captain Marvel’s protégé, Ms. Marvel, as well as Daredevil, and the fuzzy blue elf, Nightcrawler.

Finishing in a respectable 3^rd place with 66 points, we have Agent Geeks (@GeeksGoneWildTw). Doctor Strange took control of the leadership on Agent Geek’s team. Joining him was Captain America, Loki, and Mrs. Rogue (a.k.a. Gambit).

Agent Pom (@pomwonderland) finished in 4^th place with 50 points. Her shining leader was the “merc with the mouth,” sometimes known as Deadpool. Accompanying him was She-Hulk, Wasp (Nadia van Dyne), and the heartbroken, Colossus.

Taking up rearguard responsibilities, Agent Lori (@LoriHyrup) also ended the month with 50 points. However, Agent Pom finished ahead of Agent Lori because her Deadpool scored more points than Agent Lori’s leader, Kitty Pryde.

I hit a wall in my search for the truth about Agent Seren’s lineage after the Queen of Cinders burned all of the records kept by the Norns, and the Norns themselves were too busy with their own battles to answer the questions of a simple scholar. From the fires, I managed to salvage the corner of scroll on the subject. On it, were the letters …yrior. I have some ideas, but I need to tread lightly if it is what I think it is. It doesn’t bring me any closer to my answers, but it could provide me with a direction.

The Saga of Asgard continues…
