Weekly Omissions – Batman: Full Moon #4, Harley Quinn’s Bud & Lou: Troubles Times Two #1, Teen Titans: Go! #1
Hero Of The Week – This is one of my favorite weeks in the month, as we double dip with Cassandra Cain in two of DC’s best books rn, Batgirl and Birds Of Prey. And Cass finally got Hero Of The Week, putting up 19 Points over those two Appearances. Performance Of The Week also went to her teammate, Cynthia Lance, who put up 13 Points in a Appearance.
Antagonist Of The Week – Both Poison Ivy and Two-Face, antagonists with their own Series, brought in 7 Points over a single Appearance. But despite this advantage, Antagonist Of The Week goes to Mister Mind over in the finale of Shazam. He brought in 9 Points in a single Appearance.
Book Of The Week – Shazam hits the stands on last time with feeling, scoring Book Of The Week. The series finale, Shazam #21, brought in 57 Points over 8 Characters. I will miss this kooky series and these lovable kids. Mary and Billy will probably show up again sooner rather than later, but here’s hoping Freddy, Darla, Eugene, and Pedro don’t stay away for too long.
Power Of The Week – Absorb is one of my favourite powers here at the FCL. Some powers can be applied in a variety of way, but Absorb tends to be very straight forward. And this week, Captain Atom went to super-sayan levels by Absorbing a bunch of errant meta-powers, stopping a catastrophe in the process. Now the question is, how much more can Captain Atom Absorb before he become the catastrophe?
