Having gone a strong twenty issues, Leah Williams rebranded Karen Starr as Paige, as she navigated the chaos of life inside and outside of the Super-Family sphere. Leah gave Paige a new bestie in the form of Lillith Clay and this run was a delightful comfort for its existence. Hero Of The Week – Well well well, we have something special this week. A brand new addition to the League is going to steal both Performance And Hero Of The Week from DC’s varied roster. While many Heroes had the ability to put up 13 Points over multiple Appearances, our newcomer, Tefe Holland, the daughter of Alec Holland and Abigail Arcane, brought in 13 Points over a singular Appearance. Not bad, Sprout. Welcome to the League.
Antagonist Of The Week – While this award would usually go to Ivy when her book is out, this week saw Eclipso steal Antagonist Of The Week, with a 10 Point Appearance. He’s been putting up a pretty good year between The Flash and World’s Finest.
Book Of The Week – It’s a Justice League week, so of course the juggernaut, Justice League Unlimited #4 took Book Of The Week, bringing in 121 Points over 38 Characters.
Power Of The Week – So Teleport can look a variety of different ways. Nightcrawler might bamf all over the place, but Sprout can pull others into the Green to pull them from where they are, or teleport them somewhere else. She uses her power to save Aquaman from an inferno and allows him to draw upon the water inside The Green. What an absolutely MVP move from our newest Heroine.
