Help Support The Heroes We Love: This month, we’re highlighting books that survived from 2024 and are still going strong. This week we’re highlighting Jeremy Adams’ Green Lantern. Not only has the book been a wild ride of a space epic, but it’s been successful enough that a Green Lantern Corps spinoff has been ‘green’-lit, being co-penned by Jeremy Adams with help from Morgan Hampton, who worked on a pretty solid Cyborg series in 2023. While Adams will keep the focus on Hal Jordan in our high-lighted title, you can expect to see more of the Corps in a series being led by John Stewart… and Sinestro. Weekly Omissions – No Omissions
Hero Of The Week – Characters like Carter Hall, Josiah Power, and Malik White all scored 11 Points in singular Appearances, each earning Performance Of The Week along with one of our new Antagonists. But none of them could get that one extra point needed to dethrone Bruce Wayne as Hero Of The Week, who brought in 12 Points over 3 Appearances. This feels illegal except that we end up here most weeks, in the house that Batman built.
Antagonist Of The Week – We have a new addition to the League putting up 11 Points as well, scoring Performance Of The Week alongside a trio of Heroes. That new character is Despero, who looks an edge-lord version of S’ym from Marvel Comics. But Our Antagonist of The Week is Lex Luthor, who headlined 2 separate Titles to bring in 14 Points.
Book Of The Week – Sometimes a good pun can make all the difference. The Book Of The Week this time around is Lex & The City #1, which brought in 142 Points over 31 Characters. Not too shabby Lex, not too shabby.
Power Of The Week – Look, almost anytime someone breaks the Fourth Wall in a fun way, it’s going to be my Power Of The Week. The honor this time goes to Harley Quinn, who took her invasive thought captions and chucked them out of her story.
