Help Support The Heroes We Love: This month, we’re highlighting series that have come to a conclusion in the back half of 2024. This week we’re highlighting the conclusion of Sinster Sons, by Peter Tomasi, David Lafuente, and Vasco Georgiev. This delightful series saw Lor-Zod and Sinson try to find their way in a world where their parents have neglected them. Tomasi brought the same fun vibrancy he crafted in Super Sons to this series and it ended far too soon at just a measly six issues (especially given Lor’s involvement with the death of his mother, a plot thread left dangling at the end of this Miniseries). And you can read the entirety of this series at DC Universe Infinite, when you subscribe to the Ultra Annual Level (which runs the price of $170 CAD).
Weekly Omissions – Batman ’89 – Echoes #3, Batman: Gotham By Gaslight – The Kryptonian Age #2
Hero Of The Week – Honestly, this year might be the first in which another Hero gives Bruce a run for his money, at least in regards to sum total of Hero Of The Week awards. And that hero is of course, Superman. Clark Kent brought in 16 Points over a singular Appearance, which netted him both Hero Of The Week and Performance Of The Week.
Antagonist Of The Week – Alien week continues here at DC, as yet another non-Earth born character takes another award. This week’s award goes to Sinson, who has been improperly recorded for weeks now as both a Yellow Lantern and under the name, Korg. While Sinson is neither a Lantern or a dude named Korg, he did bring in 12 Points to become Antagonist Of The Week.
Book Of The Week – After a couple of massive scoring weeks, it is so nice to have a quiet small week. To that point, our Book Of The Week is Green Lantern #13, which brought in 43 Points over 15 Characters. Huzzah to small weeks.
