HERALD THE KING IN BLACK – The long teased Venom centric event is here, with Knull, the God of the Symbiotes, arrived on Earth. Donny Cates, Ryan Stegman, JP Meyer, and Frank Martin promise to out do their previous event, Absolute Carnage. King In Black double ships in this first month and Knull is not just here to invade, but to cancel Christmas. Several of the tie-ins this month will take a holiday themed approach to the event, which should provide interesting.

Team Ups – For events, we got: Black Knight & Rocket Raccoon teaming up with Peter Parker in Symbiote Spider-Man: King In Black; Black Cat teaming up with Doctor Strange, Captain America, and the X-Men in Black Cat #1; Iron Man and Doctor Doom teaming up against Santa Claus in King In Black: Iron Man/Doctor Doom; Kate Pryde teaming up with Wolverine in Wolverine: Black, White, and Blood #2; Gambit, Dani Moonstar, and Susan Storm teaming up against the Shadow King in the Chris Claremont Anniversary Special; The Order Of The Web will be swinging by Amazing Spider-Man twice this month as Last Remains concludes.

In On-Goings, we got: Captain America, Prowler, and Bombshell swinging by to help Miles against Ultimatum in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #21; Black Widow, Wolverine, and Daimon Hellstrom teaming up in Savage Avengers #15, while Magik, Juggernaut, Conan, and the Black Knight unite in Savage Avengers #16; Namor, Wolverine, and likely more will be joining the Avengers for the “Enter Phoenix” Storyline; Hellcat remains a mainstay in Iron Man; Silver Surfer guest stars in Fantastic Four #27; The Thing and a Banner-Less Hulk go toe to toe in Immortal Hulk #41; and lastly, Thunderbolt Ross goes Red once again in Captain America #26.
