Professor X is dead, long live Professor X. The recent assassination attempt of Professor X managed to stick, but on an island where resurrection is a way (and solution) of life, his mutant family was already hard at work on ways to bring him back. While many gathered to mourn and eulogize their leader, Wolverine and Kid Omega went on the hunt for answers and revenge. X-Force took top honors and Team Book of the Week with 59 points. Jane Foster continued familiarizing herself with life and death in Valkyrie, the top Solo Book of the Week with a review score of 21. She outwitted Mephisto and his pawn Grim Reaper when she ushered a dead soul to the afterlife for the first time. Unfortunately for Reaper, it happened to be his soul. Mr. Fantastic and his family ventured into the Negative Zone to investigate a distress signal in Fantastic Four: Negative Zone, the top Event Book of the Week with 22 points.
