An uneventful week in many ways, Marvel released only 15 main books which featured a lot of side characters instead of their typical A-list roster of heroes. History of the Marvel Universe represented the only event-related book so it earned the Event Book of the Week title with two points from Galactus and Powerhouse as they continued their stroll down Marvel memory lane. Galactus played a major role in the Top Solo Book of the Week as well when he came to Squirrel Girl’s aid in the final issue of Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. Using his cosmic power, and Doreen’s good-natured influence, Galactus cleared the battle field of antagonists in the 38-point book. The Team Book of the Week (and overall top review score) went to Guardians of the Galaxy as the Guardians prepared to face off against many of their brainwashed allies and the Universal Church of Truth. Guardians scored 54 review points with 23 featured characters.
