Moon Knight knows your angers and he knows your dreams, he’s the cult of personality. When a monster is loose on the streets absorbing the consciousness of some of Marvel’s biggest street-level heroes, who better to confront it than Moon Knight. As more defenders fall to the Contagion, including Elektra and Punisher, Marc Spector, a hero already living with multiple personalities, volunteers to enter the creatures mindscape and fight an all-too familiar battle. The penultimate issue of the event puts up a review score of 54 points and takes the Top Book of the Week. Man-Wolf overcomes Carnage’s mental controls in the finale of the Lethal Protectors, where he’s joined by other character featuring in Contagion including Iron Fist, Cloak and Dagger. The Absolute Carnage tie-in book earns 45 points.
Robbie Reyes and Johnny Blaze, characters who share their headspace with Spirits of Vengeance, finish their race in Avengers, the Top Team Book of the Week with 46 points. Reyes defeats Blaze with a little help from his teammates but turns down the opportunity to rule Hell. Ultron’s plan to merge AI and human personalities into one body continues in Tony Stark: Iron Man. While the battle between man and machine rages around him, James Rhodes makes the decision to step back into the War Machine armor once more in order to confront Ultron. Iron Man takes Top Solo Book of the Week honors with 34 points.
