Marvel clearly has an agenda, one that should come as no surprise to Fantasy Comic League members. It’s a Spider-Man Agenda. Peter Parker’s 22-point “Hero of the Week” performance is nothing new. He was one point short of his best score for the year, but his latest performance also marks the eighth time he has appeared in four separate books in one week. However, Daredevil has the best performance in a single issue. The Man Without Fear makes the most out of the one book in which he appears and scores nine points to take a distant second place. Third place goes to Tony Stark. He earns seven of his eight points in the book of the week, Hunt for Wolverine: The Adamantium Agenda.
Domino’s luck and recent hot streak continues with a seven point performance in her solo title. She ties with Old Man Logan and Deadpool for fourth place. After sitting out of the Champions‘ recent adventures, Miles Morales returns to the rankings of the top performers. He scores five points in his Annual book and ties with X-23 for seventh place. A three-way tie between Ms. Marvel, Thing and Thor round out the power rankings with a modest three points each.
The big bet of the month has yet to pay off for several members of the Fantasy Comic League. The young time-displaced X-Men are still expected to have a strong showing, but after two weeks the characters have only managed one appearance. All except young Iceman that is. With Extermination starting in week three, those numbers should improve.
Hero and power usages are a combination of all Fantasy Comic League divisions: Asgard, Danger Room, Do You Even Comic Book, Latveria, Midtown, Multiverse, Negative Zone and Wakanda. League participants should cross-reference the official points with their hero roster and drafted powers for their heroes’ scores.
