Help Support The Heroes We Love: You can purchase all DC Comics digitally through their digital app, or the Comixology service. This month, we’re highlighting two new titles about new characters. The first is City Boy by Greg Pak and Minkyu Jung, which follows Cameron Kim as he struggles with his ability to interact with DC cities like Bludhaven, Metropolis, and Gotham. The other series is Spirit World by Aluyssa Wong and Haining, which follows Xanthe Zhou as they team up with John Constantine and Cassandra Cain to fight a corruption within the Spirit Realm. Both series are amazing, with a solid pre-established cast that lift these new characters up. And you can read both stories in their entirety at DC Universe Infinite, when you subscribe to the Ultra Annual Level (which runs the price of $135 CAD).
Weekly Omissions- Batman: White Knight Present – Generation Joker #6, Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong #1
Hero Of The Week- Another delightfully light Gotham week, although the city is still a contender for at least one category. This week’s Hero Of The Week is Clark Kent, who brought in 18 Points over 2 Appearances. And for back to back weeks, the Performance Of The Week has gone to a Green Lantern. Last week it was Hal and this week it is John Stewart, who brought in 13 Points in a single Appearance.
Antagonist Of The Week – It was a very light week for antagonism, with our Antagonist Of The Week going to Superman’s protégé turned bad, David Reid, the man who would become Kingdom Come’s Magog. David brought in 7 Points in a single Appearance.
Book Of The Week- It was a tight race at the top for Book Of The Week amongst the various Team Titles. The Super-Family came in third with 48 Points, while the Titans managed to claim silver with 50 Points. But never bet against the Bat-Family, who took Gold in Catwoman #58, bringing in 53 over 15 Characters.
