Help Support The Heroes We Love: This month, we’re highlighting the big new toy at DC, The Absolute Universe. And this week we’re going to be talking about the third of the holy trinity titles, Absolute Wonderman. Kelly Thompson is having a field day at DC, where she’s consistently putting out the best title of the week in the form of Birds Of Prey. But that wasn’t enough, and enlisting Hayden Sherman she has created a simply hellish delight in the form of Absolute Wonder Woman, which stars a Diana raised, not in Themyscria, but Hell alongside her adoptive mother Circe. Thompson’s scripts are superb, but Sherman’s art is breathtaking in its utility and scope. Many consider this to be the best of the Absolute launch titles and it’s hard to argue with them. And you can read the opening salvos of this story at DC Universe Infinite, when you subscribe to the Ultra Annual Level (which runs the price of $170 CAD).

Hero Of The Week – I do love it when a Bat-Family member that isn’t Bruce takes home the highest prize. And this week it’s the best hero in all of comics, Dick Grayson, who will be going home with Hero Of The Week. Nightwing brought in 25 Points over 4 Appearances. Unfortunately, Dick wasn’t able to get Performance Of The Week, but it’s staying in the Bat-Family with Catwoman putting up 13 Points in a single Appearance.
Antagonist Of The Week – Despite being a dead man, Jason Woodrue is putting up killer points. In the distant past set World’s Finest, Floronic Man took Antagonist Of The Week, bringing in 10 Points over that singular Appearance.
Book Of The Week – Batman/Superman: World’s Finest will be running the full gauntlet this week, taking home the awards for Hero, Antagonist, Power, and now Book Of The Week. Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #37 brought in 67 Points over 8 Characters.
Power Of The Week – So this week’s power is going to be used to distinguish FCL breakdowns for scoring. So while Superman did use Ice to contain Flornic Man, he ultimately got an Ensnare Power Usage because the end goal of the ice was to restrict movement through freezing.
