Help Support The Heroes We Love: This month, we’re highlighting Villains! DC has a few super-villain books running at this time, so what a time for it. This week we’re looking at Bizarro, who has been making moves. He was the central focus of Jason Aaron’s first Action Comics run and he’s appearing on Nia Nall’s Suicide Squad in Suicide Squad: Dream Team. Weekly Omissions – Batman/Dylan Dog: Dog Days #2, The Bat-Man: First Knight #2
Hero Of The Week – As House Of Brainiac kicks off in earnest, it has massive ripples on the Fantasy Comic League. In a single issue, this event gave Superman both Hero Of The Week and Performance Of The Week with a 16 Point Appearance.
Antagonist Of The Week – The House Of Brainiac also saw it’s Titular character, Brainiac, bring in a 10 Point Appearance to attempt to score Antagonist Of The Week. Not quite enough to rival Superman, but he’s trying his best.
Book Of The Week – And unsurprisingly, the book carrying all 3 of the Character Performance Awards also got Book Of The Week. Action Comics #1068 brought in 81 Points over 15 Characters. A complete sweep of the categories is not too shabby of a start for this Event.
