Book of the Week – Avengers Annual #1 (Review score: 40 Points; 9 Characters). An Avengers title takes the top book title for the third week in a row. The Annual title concludes the “Infinity Watch” story as Captain Marvel and Thor insert themselves in Thanos’ quests to retrieve the stones.
Hero of the Week – Daredevil/Elektra Natchios (Review score: 22 Points/2 Appearances; 11.0 Pts/App). The Woman Without Fear has a big week with two 11-point Appearances and her first Hero of the Week. Currently, she sits at a 64% performance improvement over the previous year. She already has four more Appearances and an extra 41 points over her 2023 totals.
Antagonist of the Week – Thanos (Review score: 10 Points/1 Appearance; 10.0 Pts/App). Thanos fails to gather the Infinity Stones, but succeeds in uniting the Stone bearers against him. He temporarily kills his opponents before Overtime traps him in a time paradox which forces Thanos to relent causing the fallen heroes to return. This is Thanos’ fourth Antagonist of the Week
New Characters. Night Raven, a vigilante who starred in a series of UK published titles in the 80s.
