New characters added to start the new year include Reese, who takes over the Midnight Mission in Moon Knight’s absence; Eve Warlock, as an Antagonist for now but with hints that she has heroic potential; and Graviton in his first Appearance since 2019. The biggest development from the week sees the Fantastic Four finally reunite with their time-displaced children.
Book of the Week – Fall of the House of X #1 (Review score: 59 Points; 24 Characters). The Krakoan Age and the mutants begin their fall, but they’re not going down without a fight. Colossus, Nightcrawler and Wolverine defeat some Orchis Agents, and Ms. Marvel, mutantdom’s newest recruit, teams up with Captain America.
Hero of the Week – Doctor Strange (Review score: 18 Points/4 Appearances; 4.5 Pts/App). Doctor Strange conjures up four Appearances, including two Team-Ups and a Defeats Antagonist to take the first Hero of the Week title for 2024.
Antagonist of the Week – Meridius (Review score: 10 Points/1 Appearance; 10.0 Pts/App). Meridius reveals more about his origin including his place on Eddie Brock’s evolutionary chain. He scores a Team-Up with Kang in his one Appearance.
