A low-scoring month thanks to the “Heroes Reborn” event replacing the Avengers title and therefor limiting many of the top tier characters’ appearances. Hyperion, the Squadron Supreme leader, fills the void on several teams. His squad mates, Nighthawk and Power Princess, make appearances in division play for the first time as well. Regularly-drafted characters such as Storm, Spider-Woman and Miles Morales step up and provide good value for those who grabbed them. Rarely-drafted characters seen in May include Wolfsbane, who gets drafted twice, and Penance, who gets a modest score in large part from the new X-Corp title.
