Book of the Week – Avengers Assemble #1 (Review score: 70 Points; 20 Characters). While the main Avengers team hangs out on the Impossible City in space dealing with Kang’s “Tribulation Events,” Steve Rogers recruits a new team of heroes to protect the Earth from more immediate dangers. The new team is big enough that they can divide and conquer—one half responds to the threat and the other half kicking back in Avengers Mansion.
Hero of the Week – Wolverine/James Howlett (Review score: 18 Points/3 Appearances; 6.0 Pts/App). The start of a new titles sees Wolverine earn his sixth Hero of the Week. He sits in a solid second place, though still a distant second place behind Spider-Man.
