Spider-Boy continues his personal journey through the Spider-Verse leading to Spider-Man (MC2) getting added to the FCL database. It also ends with the hero’s history and memory being fully restored following his severance from the Web of Life and Destiny. In a week of joining squads, we get a new X-Force team, which includes new character Xyber being added to the database; new inductee Deathwatch joining the Darkholders; and She-Hulk rejoining the Avengers. Ultimate Hulk is the final addition to the database this week. Big moments from the week include Danny Rand dying in his 50th Anniversary Special and Scarlet Witch hitting 100 points with a two-point performance.
Book of the Week – Spider-Society #1 (Review score: 75 Points; 21 Characters). The latest threat to the Spider-Verse brings together the Spider-Society. Sixteen Spider-characters officially join the society but they are soon deceived by one of their own, Kraven the Spider-Hunter—which, in hindsight, should not be all that surprising. He aligns himself with the Sinister Squadron which includes Electro and Lady Octopus.
Hero of the Week – Spider-Man/Miles Morales (Review score: 18 Points/2 Appearances; 9.0 Pts/App). Miles, one of the Society’s recruits, earns his third Hero of the Week, his fewer Appearances breaking a tie with Wolverine in his favor. He saves two civilians in his two Appearances and gets one Defeats Antagonist.
Antagonist of the Week – Deathwatch (Review score: 6 Points/1 Appearance; 6.0 Pts/App). With the help of The Hood, Deathwatch take over Castle Dracula and control of the Darkholders. He debuts in the database as the top Antagonist for the week.
