The Blood Hunt may be over, but the threat of the Bloodcoven remains. Its members—Bloodstorm One, Cruel, Damascene, Smoke Eater, and Unusual—get added to the FCL database. Also newly included are the antagonists from Ultimate Black Panther: Lord Khonshu and Lord Ra; as well as classic Marauder member, Vertigo. Big moments from the week include Rogue forming her own team of X-Men based out of Louisiana featuring Gambit and Wolverine and Peter Parker willingly dons the Venom symbiote once more to kick off Venom War. Doctor Strange breaks 100 points, good for 10th place overall.
Book of the Week – Blood Hunters #1 (Review score: 51 Points; 10 Characters). Dagger, Elsa Bloodstone, Hallow’s Eve and White Widow make their partnership official as the Blood Hunters. Their first mission: chase down and bring an end to the Bloodcoven as its members fight over who will fill the leadership vacuum after Varnae’s defeat.
Hero of the Week – Spider-Man/Peter Parker (Review score: 22 Points/3 Appearances; 7.33 Pts/App). Spider-Man’s best week beats out Wolverine’s best week of the year to earn his ninth Hero of the Week. Peter Parker broke 20 points for the fifth time while this was Wolverine’s first time hitting 20 points in a week in 2024.
Antagonist of the Week – Baron Mordo (Review score: 5 Points/1 Appearance; 5.0 Pts/App). Baron Mordo benefits from Ultimate Killmonger’s classification as a Hero so far. Mordo secures his first Antagonist of the Week.
