A slow week by Marvel standards. They released 11 scoring books which averaged only 14 points. There were no new characters added to the database and no major Character Developments.
Book of the Week – Miles Morales: Spider-Man #22 (Review score: 28 Points; 4 Characters). Miles teams up with Bloodline but his new vampiric lifestyle puts them at odds. He also teams up with Hightail, an advisory with an attitude who he’s determined to turn into—at best—a frenemy.
Hero of the Week – Spider-Man/Peter Parker (Review score: 13 Points/3 Appearances; 4.3 Pts/App). Spider-Man nets his seventh Hero of the Week and doesn’t give any of the other heroes a chance during the slow week, showing up three times. However, his 10-point performance in the Annual alone would have been enough to secure the top performance for Heroes.
Antagonist of the Week – Doctor Doom (Review score: 10 Points/1 Appearances; 10.0 Pts/App). Doom is in a position he’s not all too familiar with. He currently sits in 14th place overall for all Antagonists and wins his first Antagonist of the Week in the second half of the year.
