Book of the Week – Invincible Iron Man #19 (Review score: 60 Points; 14 Characters). War Machine calls upon Sandman, his recent prison pal, to rally a group of villains to his side and fight against Orchis. The Iron Man title sweeps the weekly awards.
Hero of the Week – Iron Man (Review score: 11 Points/2 Appearances; 5.5 Pts/App). Iron Man earns his second Hero of the Week beating out Wolverine by one point. That one point comes from his brief appearance in She-Hulk. He put up a Saves Civilian and Defeats Antagonist in his own title.
Antagonist of the Week – Sandman (Review score: 7 Points/1 Appearance; 7.0 Pts/App). Sandman gets his first Antagonist of the Week, an important one since his Team-Up with War Machine convinced other villains to join the fight against Orchis—in exchange for access to Tony’s weapons cache.
