The FCL database adds a lot of new entries thanks to the big X-Men finale issue. New mutants across the multiverse get added including Blue Streak from the MC2 timeline; Ultimate-1610 characters: Colossus, Cyclops, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Wolverine and his son Jimmy Hudson; X-Men 2099’s Desert Ghost; Age of Apocalypse’s Magneto; Rogue from X-Men Forever; Wolverine from Days of Future Past; and then also Diamond Lil, Doorman, Shard, X-Man, and Gatecrasher. Not to be excluded, the the new Ultimate Universe adds Kingpin and Shocker. The additions overshadow a few other big moments from the week including Fang becoming the new Hellverine, and Destiny and Mystique renewing their wedding vows in the Wedding Special.
Book of the Week – Rise of the Powers of X #5 (Review score: 218 Points; 201 Characters). Jean Grey embraces the Phoenix Force once more and channels the souls of mutants from across the timelines to defeat Enigma. Professor X goes to jail for his crimes against humanity when he aligned himself with Orchis and Moira X finally dies, free of her respawning abilities.
Hero of the Week – Wolverine/James Howlett (Review score: 17 Points/3 Appearances; 5.67 Pts/App). Wolverine wins the “Sabretooth War” by cutting his nemesis up into tiny pieces and wins his second Hero of the Week.
Antagonist of the Week – Sabretooth (Review score: 9 Points/1 Appearance; 9.0 Pts/App). On the losing side of the “Sabretooth War,” Victor Creed takes his second Antagonist of the Year title and moves into a tie for third with Nimrod in the antagonist division.
