Blood Hunt spills over into seven ongoing and new titles and turns two characters—Doctor Strange and White Rabbit—into vampires. Another Sabretooth variant bites the dust soon after getting added to the FCL database. Sebastian Shaw, ever the opportunist, splits from Orchis and repowers himself.
Book of the Week – X-Men: Forever #3 (Review score: 49 Points; 26 Characters). Despite the Blood Hunt kicking off, the Fall of X event continues on and takes the top spot with X-Men: Forever. Exodus continues to lead the stranded mutants through the White Hot Room while the war between the X-Men and Orchis continues to rage.
Hero of the Week – Captain America/Steve Rogers (Review score: 16 Points/2 Appearances; 8.0 Pts/App). Captain America assembles a group of backup Avengers to fight against Baron Blood, the Nazi Vampire. He earns his second Hero of the Week title for the year and notches two Defeats Antagonists in his two Appearances.
Antagonist of the Week – Dracula (Review score: 9 Points/1 Appearance; 9.0 Pts/App). Not one to be outdone, Dracula emerges from the shadows to defend his vampiric rule. He gets his first Antagonist of the Week when he recruits Bloodline, Blade’s own daughter, to bring an end to Blade’s eternal darkness.
