The new Ultimate Universe continues to expand with two new characters added to the database: Harry Osborn’s Green Goblin and Bullseye. Supernova and Spiders-Man, two allies/victims of Doctor Octopus’ time as the Superior Spider-Man, also get added. The sole Character Development comes when Beast Prime has a final moment of clarity and sacrifices himself, thus ending his misguided mission to achieve mutant superiority.
Book the Week – Miles Morales: Spider-Man #18 (Review score: 65 Points; 11 Characters). Miles’ landmark 300th issue spins out of the “Gang War” as Rabble scrambles to keep control of her powers. Miles’ team and the Cape Killers exchange Defeats Antagonists with both Shift and Taskmaster going down.
Hero of the Week – Spider-Man/Peter Parker (Review score: 14 Points/2 Appearances; 7.0 Pts/App). Miles’s landmark issue gets the top book, but Peter has the top performance and takes his fourth Hero of the Week. He gets two Team-Ups and a Defeats Antagonist.
Antagonist of the Week – Rabble (Review score: 10 Points/1 Appearance; 10.0 Pts/App). Rabble’s strong start to the year leads her to the top of the Antagonist division. She earns her second Antagonist of the Week title.
