No new characters added to the database in the 10-comic week, but Sage’s Character Development may have bigger implications for the scoring system going forward. She reveals to her X-Force teammates that she has kept one of Beast’s clones in an attempt to counter their disgraced former leader. Jessica Drew scores the only other Development upon learning that Hydra kidnapped, aged-up, and brainwashed her son Gerry, turning him into Green Mamba.
Book of the Week – Daredevil: Black Armor #3 (Review score: 27 Points; 6 Characters). D.G. Chichester continues his retro series for the Man Without Fear. Daredevil rebels against Baron von Strucker’s group of bad guys and takes down the minor villain Technospike, who hasn’t appeared since Chichester’s run in the 1990s.
Hero of the Week – Spider-Man/2099 (Review score: 11 Points/1 Appearance; 11.0 Pts/App). Miguel O’Hara of the current 2099 timeline has dominated the first month of the season thanks to his weekly title. He leads the league with his 50 points doubling the mainline Spider-Man, but this is the first Hero of the Week performance.
Antagonist of the Week – Doctor Octopus (Review score: 7 Points/1 Appearance; 7.0 Pts/App). As to be expected, Doctor Octopus attempts to prove his superiority to Spider-Man despite their temporary alliance. He reneges on their Team-Up in an attempt to take over his mind once more.
