Two books continue with new runs. Rainbow Rowell picks up She-Hulk’s story where she left off in Sensational She-Hulk. Saladin Ahmed and Juan Ferreyra bring their Spine-Tingling Spider-Man story from the digital format to print. Miles Morales breaks 200 points and Iceman reaches the 100-point milestone. The Living Mummy gets added to the scoring database.
Book the Week – Crypt of Shadows #1 (Review score: 55 Points; 8 Characters). For the second Halloween in a row, Al Ewing frames an anthology book featuring some of Marvel’s spookiest characters. Witches, mummies and werewolves feature in the top book. Team-ups transpire between Daredevil and the Man-Thing, Deadpool and the Living Mummy, and Hulk and Werewolf.
Hero of the Week – Scarlet Witch (Review score: 21 Points/2 Appearances; 10.5 Pts/App). It took a while to get here considering the big year Wanda has been having, but Scarlet Witch conjures up her first Hero of the Week on the year. She showed up in the Crypt of Shadows book and earned two Defeat Antagonists in her two Appearances.
Antagonist of the Week – Capitán (Review score: 10 Points/1 Appearances; 10.0 Pts/App). The Children of the Vault earn their first Antagonist of the Week. It appropriately belongs to the more antagonistic member of the group, Capitán. He represents the more forceful faction constantly feuding with Serafina and how best to rule over the humans.
