Miles Morales hits another milestone in his Spider-career: he receives his very own Iron-Spider suit from Tony Stark. The Maker, another castaway from the defunct Ultimate Universe, sets about to create a new Ultimate timeline. Morgan Le Fay receives a fresh connection to the land of Britain from Betsy Braddock which presents her with a fresh start as one of its protectors.
Book the Week – New Mutants Lethal Legion #4 (Review score: 40 Points; 10 Characters). Count Nefaria’s Lethal Legion chase down and wreck the New Mutants. Moontone, his newest recruit overpowers the heroes, though is temporarily brought down by an overzealous and inexperienced Escapade. The bad guys escape with Nefaria’s Weird Engine and the New Mutants to pull themselves out of the rubble.
Hero of the Week – Iron Man (Review score: 23 Points/5 Appearances; 4.6 Pts/App). Tony Stark puts up his best numbers of the year so far and joins Peter Parker and Steve Rogers in the 200 Club. He shows up throughout the various corners of the Marvel Universe with his five appearances—supporting Miles Morales against Carnage, Betsy Braddock against Morgan Le fay and his Illuminati teammates against The Maker. He Earns his third Hero of the Week title.
Antagonist of the Week – The Maker (Review score: 7 Points/1 Appearance; 7.0 Pts/App). The Maker returns, as does superstar writer Jonathan Hickman. The Maker plans to rebuild an Ultimate Universe by pilfering valuable items including Vibranium, Terrigen Crystals and a Krakoa gateway and building his own Alternate Reality Bridge. He exits the proper Marvel Universe while taunting the Illuminati members who show up too late to stop him.
