Ms. Marvel’s death, Marvel’s big reveal which they revealed weeks in advance, comes to pass in the latest Amazing Spider-Man when she sacrifices herself to save Mary Jane. The Punisher’s fiery grip on the Hand comes to an end when he exiles himself to Weirdworld, giving the Marvel Universe a respite from his brutal brand of vigilantism. Spinstress, Marvel’s Disney Princess inspired Spider-Man, sings and dances herself into the databases with her sixth Appearance.
Book the Week – Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain #4 (Review score: 63 Points; 15 Characters). Captain Britain enlists the aid of the Avengers to help bring down the Captain Britain Fury imposter. Morgan Le Fay reveals she has an ally of her own, Doctor Doom, and he’s prepared to bring the full might of Latveria.
Hero of the Week – Doctor Strange (Review score: 24 Points/3 Appearances; 8.0 Pts/App). Doctor Strange hosts an unwelcome house guest, his arch enemy Dormammu, on Parlay Day. He also Teams-Up with other friendlier characters in all three of his Appearances. His second Hero of the Week performance leads to him breaking 100 points.
Antagonist of the Week – Carnage/Cletus Kasady (Review score: 8 Points/1 Appearance; 8.0 Pts/App). Carnage gives a new, deadly meaning to the term ‘going viral’ when he plugs into the Stark Escape network. He earns his third Antagonist of the Week in the third part of the “Carnage Reigns” storyline.
